Robotics Coding Challenge (RCC) is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants, particularly children. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

What We Collect
- Name, email address, school name
- Grade level and age group
- Parent/guardian contact details (for participants under 18)
- Delivery address (for certificates, medals, and trophies)
- Project submissions (code files and videos)
- Payment information (processed securely by third-party payment providers)
Data Use
How We Use Your Information
- To process registrations and payments
- To communicate competition updates and results
- To deliver physical awards to nominated addresses
- To publish winners’ names and school in our Hall of Fame (with consent)
- To improve future competitions
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Children’s Privacy
Protecting Young Participants
For participants under 18, we require parental/guardian consent for registration. We take extra care to minimise data collected from minors and never publish personally identifiable information about children without explicit consent.
